In the UK, the football blackout rule—governed by UEFA Article 48—has been in place since the 1960s. Between 2:45 PM and 5:15 PM every Saturday during the domestic football season, no broadcaster is permitted to televise live matches in the UK. The original intention was to protect attendances at lower league matches, but in the modern digital era, it has left millions of dedicated fans unable to watch their favorite clubs.
Every Saturday at 3:00 PM, up to five or six Premier League matches take place simultaneously, yet UK viewers with standard satellite television are left with radio commentary or text updates.
How IPTV UK NOW Solves the 3PM Blackout Problem
While UK broadcasters cannot show these games, international television networks across the globe broadcast every single match live with full stadium sound and English commentary. IPTV UK NOW aggregates these premier international sports feeds into one unified guide:
• NBC Sports & Peacock (USA feeds with English commentary)
• Optus Sport (Australia 4K coverage)
• SuperSport Premier League (South Africa live stadium broadcast)
• DAZN (Canada & Europe feeds)
• Sky Sports & TNT Sports UHD for non-blackout early and late fixtures.
Never Miss Another Goal
With IPTV UK NOW, you can watch Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Tottenham every single matchday, regardless of whether domestic UK television chooses to broadcast them. Experience the action in native 60FPS high definition without arbitrary regional blackouts.
